Keweenaw Compendium was conceived the summer of 2018 with the aim to make the outdoors more accessible through the sharing of knowledge and experiences. A more detailed explanation of this can be found in the Note From the Author.

It is worth noting that several of the locations described are on private land. As such, I recommend you ask for the landowners permission to avoid any uncomfortable confrontations or legal action against you. If you are a landowner of one of these sites and would like its respective page removed, please contact me and I will do my best to promptly remove the post. Additionally, some areas are downright dangerous. I’ll note if any locations present significant hazards but it is up to you to use your best judgement while exploring. This guide is for entertainment purposes only. The authors make no claim to its accuracy, nor are they liable for any legal action, injury or loss of life sustained while using this guide.

Due to the scale of this project, the site will likely be in a state of perpetual growth.
